Amtrak Train Days wasn’t simply a celebration of the trains Amtrak runs, it was a celebration of the communities and people they connected to across more than 500 destinations. So Amtrak hit the rails to host events across the country where families, mayors, mechanics, Tweeters, Instagramers, train fans young and old and everyone in-between could come out in celebration of why trains matter.

Kicking off at Chicago’s Union Station, Amtrak Train Days travelled across the country for six months bringing exclusive train fun, the Amtrak Exhibit Train and The Amtrak Experience, an installation that enabled attendees to see and feel the benefits of train travel.
