TURTLE HELPS TAKES THE FEAR OUT OF GOING TO THE DENTIST
Elegant Dental Trailer Educates Consumers about Oral Health

To promote Sensodyne’s sensitivity products and educate consumers about good oral health, Turtle Transit designed and built a customized 48’ promotional gooseneck trailer for an activation executed by Mosaic. The trailer was designed to be accessible for heavy foot traffic, while offering an exclusive experience for those consumers seeking private advice by a dental hygienist.  Inside the trailer, private consultation stations partitioned by branded walls displaying educational messages included comfortable booth seating and tables for hygienists to meet one-on-one with consumers. Turtle also installed air conditioning and LED lighting to make the experience more enjoyable and relaxing inside. The passenger side of the trailer was lined with tinted glass panel windows to offer privacy to those undergoing consultation and to intrigue passerby at events.

Turtle fabricated a 20’ long custom flip-up sign and mounted it onto the rooftop of the trailer. The sign allowed the brand billboard-like real estate for more exposure and product messaging when parked at events. As consumers approached the experience, they were welcomed by a 20’ branded inflatable archway entrance. Among the vehicle’s footprint, were two 10’ X 20’ branded tents which served as a welcome station and lounge area. The tents included branded panels which displayed product information and oral health education for consumers. For the welcome station, Turtle built a custom podium and touch-based registration kiosk with four HP Touchsmart computers.

Consumers could enter the Dental Health Spa Sweepstakes to win a luxurious vacation or a Bowflex home gym. The kiosk also enabled Sensodyne to provide consumers with promotional offers, product news, health information, and administer feedback surveys.  The branded lounge area included seating for consumers to relax and view educational media on two 40’’ LCD TVs. Turtle mounted the TVs on custom media stands to allow flexibility for tour staff to position them anywhere outdoors.  The center of the experience displayed a custom hand-sculpted brushing station designed and crafted by Turtle.

The 8’ tall brushing station was creatively sculpted to mimic Sensodyne’s toothpaste container, and included five individual toothbrushing sinks divided by branded walls for privacy.  Consumers were invited to grab a toothbrush, toothpaste sample and test out Sensodyne’s new line of sensitivity products. Turtle engineered and installed fresh and grey water systems to supply and drain water to the brushing system. Turtle supplied two 16’ branded inflatables custom designed in the shape of its new line of products. Additional branded fencing, signage, featherblade banners, and exterior graphics surrounded the vehicle’s footprint to keep consumers engaged in the immersive experience. The Sensodyne Dental Health Spa will promote its new products and offer consultations to consumers in various cities throughout the summer.

DUNKIN DONUTS GETS AN EXTRA BOOST OF PROMOTION WITH MOBILE TOUR
Dunkin Turbo Bus Hits the Road to Sample New Coffee Products

When Dunkin Donuts latest line of Turbo coffee hit the shelves of retail stores nationally, Turtle Transit wanted to promote its new big taste in a big way. To support the launch of Dunkin Turbo, and the Big Taste Tour, a mobile sampling program executed by Big Fish Promotions, Turtle designed and built the Dunkin Turbo Bus. The head turning sampling vehicle was guaranteed to help Dunkin Donuts promote its new big taste with an impressive event footprint.

The Turbo Bus sported a luxurious lounge area with leather seating, cabinets, entertainment center and beverage center. Turtle installed a custom AV rack for tour staff to operate an exterior sound system, microphones for announcements, and laptop connectivity for transferring promotional media to an outdoor LCD TV. The rear of the Turbo Bus included a kitchen complete with stainless steel countertops, refrigeration, hand-washing sink, and electrical outlets which powered the brand’s industrial coffee machines to brew samples of its coffee at events. Tour staff could also access a storage area for products and materials from the kitchen area.

Turtle installed a custom sound system with exterior speakers for CD / DVD playback. Custom recessed speaker panels were fabricated onto the rooftop to maximize the height of the bus and give the vehicle more depth and dimension. Turtle mounted a 40’’ LCD TV on a custom media stand to allow flexibility for tour staff to position it anywhere outdoors. To expand the experience beyond the Turbo Bus, Turtle built four custom bistro tables with branded umbrellas for consumers to relax in the footprint and enjoy their coffee sample.

Turtle also crafted a branded serving podium for tour staff to generate a conversation with consumers and distribute samples. A custom branded awning was installed over the serving podium to provide shade for consumers and keep them among the program’s experience. The entire sampling program was wrapped with bright vinyl graphics to attract consumer attention and generate buzz at events. From the East Coast, all the way to California’s largest events, The Big Taste Tour will sample coffee nationally throughout the summer.
